The RMIT Information Integrity Hub's experienced fact checkers and digital literacy experts offer training to industry, government and community organisations in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region to build resilience against misinformation.

Our online and in-person workshops have helped journalists, researchers and professional communicators understand how to use digital tools and resources to find, verify and critically evaluate online information.

Study at RMIT University

The School of Media and Communication offers undergraduate and postgraduate journalism and communication programs that teach students the fundamentals of information integrity and prepare graduates to be informed, skilled and resourceful media professionals.

As part of its work, the integrity hub directly engages with students to teach them essential critical thinking skills for navigating an increasingly complex digital media environment plagued by misinformation.

Bachelor of Communication (Journalism)

This program offers practical and theoretical knowledge to begin a career in journalism, in Australia or abroad.

Bachelor of Professional Communication

With majors in advertising, public relations and digital communication, this program offers the knowledge and skills to produce contemporary communication specialists who are creative, socially aware and multi-skilled.

Master of Communication

Through a curriculum delivered by a joint mix of academics and industry practitioners, this program builds strength in the fundamentals of communication theory and its real-world applications to prepare graduates for the changing world of communication.
