The Building and Construction research team in School of Property, Construction and Project Management has championed in the field of Built Environment and Design (Excellence of Research Australia Field of Research Code 12)

The team specialises in construction innovation, construction practice and management, education and professional training in construction, as well as sustainable housing.

Scholars from the Building and Construction research team have attained recognition at an international level. Their research has been consistently ranked amongst the top of the College in terms of H-index and citation numbers. Their impact on the construction research field is also evidenced by the editorial appointments in international refereed journals, including:
