Applied Electromagnetics and Radiation Physics

Digital pattern of circular shapes.

Applied Electromagnetics and Radiation Physics applies cutting edge physics to achieve practical outcomes in areas such as medicine and geophysics.

Our research involves implementations of electromagnetic methods from extremely low frequencies through to light and gamma rays. These methods are used to image materials, perform medical imaging and radiotherapy procedures, and explore the earth’s shallow crust.
