Multifunctional Mechano-biocidal Materials Research Group

The Mechano-biocidal Materials Research Group designs and develops novel antimicrobial materials

Our research addresses the current public health crises of microbial contamination of industrial products and medical devices. We utilise biomimetics to achieve the innovative design of advanced multifunctional materials that are resistant to microbial colonisation.

We team up with industrial and academic partners to provide strategic solutions for the development of multifunctional materials for the medical and industrial sectors.
