I have built an impactful research record specializing in Power-Electronics-Dominant Power Grids. Over the years, I have conducted extensive research in smart load modeling and control, advanced control and its applications, as well as the cyber security of power electronic systems and microgrids. According to the latest statistics published by Elsevier and managed by Stanford University, I am ranked in the Top 2% of Global Scientists. I have secured approximately 400K AUD in research funding and currently lead a research team focused on the cyber security of low-carbon power grids. Much of my work is in collaboration with world-renowned researchers, and I welcome PhD candidates and research fellows interested in these areas to join our team. In addition to my research, I also serve as the Program Manager for the Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) (Honours) in Hong Kong, where I have successfully led multiple degree accreditations in Australia and Hong Kong.
