Karim Yacoub is the Medical Imaging Stream Leader and Academic Clinical Placement Coordinator at RMIT University. He is dedicated to advancing radiography education across both academic and clinical settings, with a strong focus on enhancing the quality of student clinical placement experiences through collaboration with students and clinical educators.
Karim is an active member of the ASMIRT National Education Committee, the ASMIRT Victorian Branch Committee, and the Continuing Education Committee (CEC). He also serves as a mentor for the ASMIRT Victorian Student Committee. Karim is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), holds a Master of Health Management and Leadership, and is currently undertaking a PhD.
