2025 Higinbotham Lecture with Joe Ball

Join us for the 2025 Higinbotham Lecture - All that we are: The fight for safety, dignity and freedom for all, delivered by Joe Ball, Victorian Commissioner for LGBTIQA+ Communities.

At a time of growing backlash against LGBTIQA+ communities both in Australia and globally, the call for leadership grounded in human rights has never been stronger. In this year's lecture, Joe Ball invites us to reflect on how we can stand firm in our convictions, build coalitions without erasing difference, and move beyond defence towards shaping a shared vision for justice.

Time: 5.15pm arrival for a 5.30pm start. The lecture concludes at 7.00pm, followed by networking until 8.00pm.

Venue: RMIT Storey hall, Building 16, 336-342 Swanston Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000

RSVP: By Friday, 10 October 2025
