Festival of Technology and Social Impact

The Festival of Technology and Social Impact celebrates the work of RMIT that uses technology to drive innovation and create positive social impact, as we work with government, industry, our students and communities to create a better society.

The theme of the 2025 festival is: “Fair, Innovative and Resilient Australian Futures”.

The Australian economy is undergoing transformation to net zero, powered and shaped by clean energy and advanced manufacturing. To ensure we have the sovereign capability to optimise and share the benefits of this transformation requires an equally strong emphasis on a just social transition for workers and communities, and the robust development of essential knowledge, skills and jobs.  Operating at the intersection of business, law and technology – with social impact – puts RMIT College of Business and Law at the centre of efforts to advance fair, innovative and resilient Australian futures.
