Partnering with RMIT gives industry access to:

  • Excellent research capabilities
  • Outstanding teaching and learning programs
  • Students, ventures and talent
  • World-class facilities
  • State-of-the-art infrastructure
  • Philanthropic opportunities

We challenge ideas, push innovation, uncover and help solve industry pain-points and make real impact.

Collaborate with us in the following ways:

  • We choose a specific cutting edge capability in a targeted theme or area. We then invite a set of industry partners to attend an event.
  • At these events we share a series of short presentations on the theme. These are given by leading researchers and academics in the field.
  • There is an opportunity for a Q & A session.
  • This is followed by quick meetings to explore capabilities in greater detail.
  • Industry partners can then meet and explore RMIT expertise, including researchers, professional learning, infrastructure and facilities.

  • You share your problems and challenges with us. In response, we look at what has been done across industry and identify gaps. We then pitch possible solutions and approaches.
  • You will be introduced to the many ways that you can engage with RMIT, through co-teaching, mentoring or employing talented students and graduates.
  • You can explore how you could contribute to new and existing programs, courses and credentials.
  • You could also gain access to RMIT facilities that are equipped with cutting-edge instrumentation and expert staff that can provide training and consultation.

  • This is a targeted program based on prequalified technology needs from industries. That need is then matched with RMIT Innovation and Intellectual Property.
  • This is an opportunity for you to interact with prequalified researchers, fully briefed on your industry issues to discuss opportunities.

  • Industry and RMIT take part in high level leadership discussions on a specific topic.
