Dr Le (Nancy) An is a Lecturer in the School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain at RMIT University. She is committed to fostering student success through innovative, inclusive and industry-informed education, with a focus on developing practical digital, analytical and AI-enabled capabilities for contemporary business contexts.
Before entering academia, Nancy gained a decade of professional experience in the technology sector, including roles with Cisco and Ericsson in the United States and China. As a Consultant Engineer and Solution Architect, she provided consultancy on digital innovation, technology implementation and business process improvement across diverse organisational settings.
Nancy’s research focuses on digital innovation at the intersection of information systems, human–computer interaction and education. Her work explores how emerging technologies, including generative AI, simulations and interactive digital platforms, can enhance learning, professional capability development, wellbeing literacy and ethical decision-making. She is also interested in how organisations adopt digital technologies to improve business processes, human–technology interaction, workplace practices and responsible innovation.
