RMIT Foundation Studies has been designed to prepare you for success at university. This program is your direct pathway to degree programs at RMIT University.
RMIT University's Foundation Studies course is designed to give international students the skills you need to be university ready. Students who successfully complete Foundation Studies and meet the appropriate prerequisites are eligible to pathway into an RMIT University first-year undergraduate program or its equivalent. Foundation Studies is delivered by RMIT Training at our City Campus in Melbourne, Australia.
Foundation Studies is delivered face-to-face on campus and includes a live online component. Our delivery mode recognises the importance of preparing students for new ways of learning and working for the future.

Foundation Studies has been developed and accredited by RMIT as an alternative to completing Australian Year 12 studies or international equivalent. The course is delivered by RMIT Training, a company wholly owned by RMIT at our Melbourne City campus.
Our staff are here to help you. They will welcome you to your course by providing advice, guidance, professional counselling and support. Our teachers are experienced, helpful and passionate about supporting you on your learning journey. We have specialist facilities which allow for small group activities and put students at the centre of their learning.

RMIT Training officers will offer you support, guidance and reassurance as you settle into your new home here in Melbourne. We also offer a range of social activities to help you make friends and adjust to your new environment.
