If someone is injured or becomes ill, immediate and effective first aid can reduce the severity of the injury or illness and aid quicker recovery.

Need a first aider?

All RMIT security staff are trained in first aid.

Trained first aiders, first aid equipment and facilities, which reflect the nature of the identified risks, are available across RMIT.

There is a process in place to make sure that first aid requirements and associated risks are identified and managed. It includes guidance on first aid training and first aid kits/equipment and access to facilities.

Following the process will help ensure staff, students and contractors are prepared for managing first aid incidents.
