Having a safe lock out/tag out system ensures that members of the RMIT community are protected from hazardous energy sources.
Lock out/tag out (LOTO) is a safety procedure that is used to ensure that potentially dangerous equipment or machinery is properly shut off and not able to be started up again while maintenance or repair work is being done.
