I am a lecturer in the School of Economics, Finance and Marketing at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. I did my PhD in economics from the University of Melbourne.
I have extensive experience in teaching and coordinating economics and econometrics courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Before joining RMIT, I have also taught at the Faculty of Business and Economics and Melbourne Business School at the University of Melbourne. Courses that I have specialist knowledge in include a range of qualitative ones, such as introductory micro and macroeconomics, and quantitative ones, such as data analytics, big data and machine learning, and introductory econometrics.
My research fields are development economics, health economics and behavioural economics. I apply micro-econometric tools to understand individuals' decision-making in low- and middle-income countries. My current research is centred around two themes: examining individuals' constraints to health-seeking behaviours and understanding the role of religion in individuals' behaviours and wellbeing.
