You will learn how to:

You can view online resources and learning activities, access course materials via Canvas, collaborate with lecturers and fellow students, and access your student email account anywhere, anytime.

Our online learning platform is purpose-built and brings authenticity to your learning experience, available using your laptop, tablet or smartphone. Coursework is delivered in an engaging way and easy to follow.

You will also have access to discussion boards, online forums, electronic assignment submission, the library and business journals.

Assessment is ongoing throughout the teaching period and includes essays, reports, presentations, case studies, quizzes and research projects. 

The Graduate Certificate in Workforce Transformation consists of three core courses and one elective.

RMIT Online’s Graduate Certificate in Workforce Transformation will prepare HR, People and Change professionals to anticipate, lead and implement workforce transformations that are future-focused and put people and business value at the centre.

Admissions

You must have:

  • An Australian Bachelor degree or equivalent, or higher-level qualification, in any discipline from a recognised tertiary institution; or
  • No qualification with at least five years full time experience working in human resources, change management, recruitment, training and development or a related role. Applicants will be required to submit a curriculum vitae (CV).

All non-Australian residents and overseas full-fee paying students are required to meet RMIT English language requirements. Find out more about these requirements and acceptable English language tests.

To study this course you will need to complete one of the following English proficiency tests:

  • IELTS (Academic): minimum overall band of 6.5 (with no individual band below 6.0)
  • TOEFL (Internet Based Test - IBT): minimum overall score of 79 (with minimum of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing)
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE (A)): minimum score of 58 (with no communication band less than 50)
  • Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): minimum of 176 with no less than 169 in any component.

Pathways

Our Graduate Certificate encompasses courses that make up our Graduate Certificate, so if you need to exit the program early, you can earn a postgraduate qualification by successfully completing specified courses. The Graduate Certificate is also a pathway to the Master degree for some students.

Fees are adjusted on an annual basis and these fees should only be used as a guide.

In addition to tuition fees, you will be charged an annual student services and amenities fee (SSAF) based on your enrolment load, which is used to maintain and enhance services and amenities that improve your experience as an RMIT student. Eligible local students can apply for an SA-HELP loan to defer payment of their SSAF.

Some students may be eligible to apply to defer payment of some or all of their tuition fees via the Commonwealth Government’s FEE-HELP loan scheme.
