About

I am a passionate and highly experienced educator and researcher in project management, pedagogy and learning innovations. Besides a strong foundation in the built environment (structural engineering and project management) across academia and industry, I also have decades of experience in researching and implementing learning and teaching innovations for various settings and contexts, from small-scale creative face-to-face classrooms to large-scale fully online master programs for leading universities. I am deeply invested in and dedicated to the education of our young people, as I believe that's where I make the best impact in the world.

My education and work background spans across Southeast Asia, The United States, and Australia. I got my Bachelor of Civil Engineering from The University of Adelaide, and my PhD in Construction Engineering and Project Management from The University of Texas at Austin. I have work experience in construction, real estate, corporate training, education startups, and education technology. I have published in leading journals and conference proceedings in the built environment worldwide.

I currently teach project management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at RMIT. I live in Melbourne with my husband and our two daughters.
