Dr. Tram Nguyen is a dedicated and experienced lecturer and researcher with over a decade of invaluable expertise. In 2019, she proudly obtained her PhD degree from the University of Liverpool, UK, with the generous support of the Vietnamese Government, British Council, and European Commission. Throughout her academic journey, she has focused her research efforts on global supply chain management, particularly in areas such as food supply, innovation, and the digital transformation of logistics systems. Dr. Nguyen's contributions to the field have been acknowledged through presentations at esteemed EurOMA conferences and the publication of her work in quality journals. Her insights and discoveries have also been shared in a book titled "Towards Safer Global Food Supply Chains," published by Palgrave MacMillan, as well as various chapters in publications by Springer Nature. Driven by a genuine curiosity in food supply, innovation, and the digital transformation of logistics systems, she humbly approaches her research with a desire to uncover new knowledge and offer practical solutions. She acknowledges the complexities and emerging trends within global supply chain management and strives to contribute to its ongoing development.
In addition to her research accomplishments, Dr. Nguyen cherishes her role as an educator. With more than ten years of teaching experience in Business and Management, she has had the privilege of guiding and inspiring numerous students. Through a student-centered approach, she endeavors to create a supportive learning environment that promotes active engagement and work-integrated learning. Her ultimate goal is to equip her students with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their future careers. Beyond the academic realm, she actively collaborates with businesses as a consultant and researcher. Her expertise in logistics and supply chain management allows her to offer valuable insights and assist organizations in optimizing their operations. She embraces these opportunities to bridge the gap between academia and industry, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
