As a new RMIT student you must attend your scheduled enrolment session where you will enrol in courses for the current academic year. It is very important you enrol correctly to ensure your results can be recorded.

If you miss your enrolment session you will need to follow the process for late enrolment.

Paper-based enrolment

As part of enrolment you will be provided with:

  • an RMIT University enrolment form, and
  • a course selection template.

If you receive these documents by post prior to your enrolment session, please ensure you bring them with you so they can be stamped. 

Note: Please fill out the RMIT University enrolment form using your name as it appears in your passport, or other official documentation, as this will be used for your testamur (degree certificate) upon graduation.

Online enrolment

If you are enrolling online, you will need to complete My Checklist. This is series of straightforward questions that you must answer in order to comply with Australian Government reporting obligations.

You will need your student number. You'll find this in your offer letter, or you can get it through your partner institute contact.
