2024 Semester 1 extension to enrolment deadlines

We understand that some students are still waiting for their student visa. We have extended the enrolment deadline to ensure that all students can participate in their studies at RMIT.

Enrol while you wait

You can still enrol while you wait for your visa. We recommend you enrol as soon as possible. The extended deadlines are in the tables below. Simply select your discipline (e.g. Engineering) and the last day to enrol is listed next to your program.

How to enrol

To enrol, follow the instructions in your enrolment guide. This will help you to set up your RMIT account and add your classes in Enrolment Online.

Request permission to add classes

When you get to the step to select classes in Enrolment Online, you may be asked to apply for permission. If you are, make sure you submit your request before the extended deadline to enrol in your program.

Your request to enrol will be reviewed by RMIT to ensure you have not missed too many classes to succeed. This review will usually take 1-2 business days. If your request is approved, we will email you with the good news.

If you submit your request after the extended last day to enrol, it may not be approved. Your RMIT school will contact you about this.
