About

Dr. Liang brings over 14 years of teaching and research experience in aviation, with a diverse background spanning China, France, and Australia. Her expertise lies in Air Traffic Management (ATM), Trajectory-Based Operation (TBO), machine learning, and big data analytics for trajectory analysis and prediction. Dr. Liang's work is particularly focused on applying these technologies to autonomous ATM/UTM systems and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM).

Dr. Liang is an Australian. She used to hold an En-route Air Traffic Control License in China, is holding a CASA Remote Pilot Licence in Australia, and is an active member of the Royal Aeronautical Society (Royal Aeronautical Society) and Informs (Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences). She is regularly participating in the conferences organized by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), as well as the leading conference in Air Traffic Management research - ATRD Symposium (US-Europe Air Transportation Research & Development Symposium).
