About

Dr. Azizur Rahman teaches occupational health and safety, human factor and ergonomics in the School of Property Construction and Project Management at RMIT University.

He conducts research in the field of occupational and workplace health and safety, ergonomics design, workplace wellbeing and equity of working life, and Injury prevention.

He has active national and international collaboration with different level of stakeholders.

Industry experience:
Dr Azizur Rahman worked as a Consultant, at Consultancy Research and Testing Services (CRTS) from April 2008- March 2012, it was an additional responsibility for the community. His responsibility was to lead a team assessing and recommending ergonomic risk in a local council-driven organization. also worked for nearly 2.5 years (from October 2005 to March 2008) in a thermal power generation Project, Skoda plant, Czech Republic, and around 2 years (from October 2003 to September 2005) in the pharma industry Project of Akzo Nobel, The Netherland. His main responsibilities were to identify, assess, and mitigate occupational health and safety risks.
