I am a psychology academic with experience across research, teaching, curriculum development, and postgraduate supervision. My research includes areas related to psychology, disability, rehabilitation and public health, with a particular focus on understanding psychological, behavioural and contextual factors that influence mental health, wellbeing, participation and performance.
My teaching spans undergraduate and postgraduate psychology and public health, including research methods, principles of psychology, forensic psychology, and professional field placement. I also supervise Honours and postgraduate research students.
My research focuses on mental health, wellbeing, participation and performance. My primary research interests are Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), including impaired motor control and psychosocial outcomes across child and adulthood. They also include occupational burnout, psychological distress and wellbeing in professional sports coaches.
