For second year construction management students with a GPA of 2.7 or higher; worth $7,500 for one year.

Kapitol Group is one of Australia’s fastest-growing design and construction companies. This scholarship provides a second year construction management student with an amazing opportunity for not only financial assistance, but also for paid work experience across Kapitol’s diverse portfolio of construction projects.

The scholarship provides:

  • $7,500 for one year
  • An opportunity for paid work during the vacation period
  • An opportunity to undertake a paid cadetship in your third year of study.

Note: The Kapitol Group Scholarship is regarded as taxable income under taxation legislation as there is an opportunity to undertake paid work with the donor. We recommend that you obtain taxation advice from an accountant or the Australian Tax Office regarding this scholarship.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident, or a permanent humanitarian visa holder
  • be enrolling full-time in your second year of study in the Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) (BH114) in semester 1 and 2 2024
  • have a Grade Point Average (GPA) to date of 2.7 or higher at the end of semester 2 2023
  • demonstrate high level communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • be willing to participate in paid vacation work at Kapitol Group
  • be willing to participate in a paid cadetship at Kapitol Group in your third year of study
  • be willing to participate in an interview with a representative of Kapitol Group, if shortlisted*.

Preference will be given to students from under-represented groups such as those who identify as a woman, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders, students from a low SES background or those who have relocated from a rural/remote area.
