The Building and Construction Industry Foundation
‘A good education is a foundation for a better future’ - Elizabeth Warren.
Who we are:
The Foundation was launched by Master Builders Victoria (MBV) in 2010 for the purpose of unlocking financial barriers to education within the building and construction industry by providing financial assistance to those seeking to enter the industry and those aspiring to further their careers within the industry by developing their technical, business and leadership skills.
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to undertake study and further development to enable them to pursue a career within our thriving building and construction industry, regardless of their background and personal circumstances.
Although established by MBV, the Foundation is an independent, registered charity that relies on the generosity of individuals and organisations within the building and construction industry who understand the importance of investing in the future of their industry and share a commitment to developing future talent, thus ensuring the long-term sustainability of our industry. It aims to promote excellence in the industry by supporting people to study in any educational institution of their choosing.
