Passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) to monitor freshwater restoration

Contribute to the development and application of next-generation biodiversity monitoring systems using PAM and artificial intelligence. Research may involve the deployment of acoustic sensors across freshwater ecosystems, including wetlands, reservoirs, wastewater lagoons, aquaculture ponds, and farm dams. Join interdisciplinary PhD projects advancing climate and nature-positive solutions through methane reduction in rice systems, halophyte farming, ocean alkalinity enhancement, freshwater wetland carbon, stewardship-focused nature markets, and temperate grassland carbon storage. Human Dimensions of Conservation, Restoration and Climate Action

Examine how people’s values, experiences, behaviours, and knowledge influence environmental decision-making.
