Industry Advisory Board for Cyber

Industry leaders supporting cyber innovation and security at RMIT University.

The Industry Advisory Board for Cyber (IABC) is RMIT’s leading body of industry experts in the cyber sector.

The IABC is a university-wide initiative, encompassing the College of Business and Law, College of Science and Engineering, and the RMIT Activator. It aims to jointly support the RMIT University Centre for Cyber Security and Research and Innovation (CCSRI) and the RMIT Cyber Ready Cloud Innovation Centre (CIC), along with the multitude of educational and research programs in this field.

IABC members are a dynamic group of business and technology executives/cyber professionals, who provide objective, outside-in thinking. They provide a continuous focus on core business and industry issues, or are involved in innovation and Australia’s start-up eco-system. Members are well-connected, well-credentialed leaders within their sector and nationally. They are at the cutting edge of their profession - keenly aware of organisational cyber needs, applied research, and the changing technology landscape within Australia and internationally. Representing major companies and organisations from around Australia, IABC members contribute first-hand knowledge and diverse executive perspectives regarding key industry priorities and challenges. This knowledge enables continuous refinement of RMIT strategic direction relating to Cyber Innovation and Cyber Security research.
