Dr. Joshua Farragher is an Early Career Researcher and a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy. Dr. Farragher is the Clinical Coordinator of the Master of Physiotherapy at RMIT University. He has expertise in psychological effects of rehabilitation exercise, biomechanics and developing novel and functional rehabilitation programs for people with low back pain. Dr. Farragher has designed and led a multi-centred randomised controlled trial evaluating the novel rehabilitation of people with persistent low back pain. He has designed, launched and expanded the accredited Master of Physiotherapy program at RMIT University. He is also a lead in the schoolwide initiative of providing and evaluating Mental Health First Aid training for Healthcare students. Dr. Farragher uses his 15 years of clinical expertise in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy practice and reserach into the use of technology to inform teaching to educate Physiotherapy students. He has help positions as the Chair of the Victorian Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Committee and a member of the National Musculoskeletal Committee and Education Committees.
