Dr Moh is a teaching-focused academic at RMIT University with a strong record of delivering high-quality, innovative education across undergraduate and postgraduate business programs. He holds a PhD and MBA from RMIT University and brings a combination of academic rigour, industry experience, and pedagogical leadership to his teaching practice. He teaches across the Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Business programs, with a particular focus on second-year coursework, as well as within the Bachelor of Business Professional Practice program, where he integrates work-integrated learning and industry engagement into the student experience.

His teaching is grounded in authentic, applied, and active (AAA) pedagogy, enabling students to translate theory into practice through real-world challenges and industry partnerships. Research interests

Dr Moh’s research demonstrates a growing and multidisciplinary publication profile spanning governance, sustainability, digital transformation, and emerging technologies in education and development contexts. His research interest has expanded into digital transformation and generative AI, particularly exploring adoption of AI in education, capability development, and the implications of emerging technologies for organisational practice. This work reflects a growing interest in how digital systems are reshaping decision-making processes, capability building, and institutional change within organisations.

At the core of his scholarship, Dr Moh’s research focuses on governance and institutional conditions in developing and fragile contexts, grounded in political sociology, comparative politics, development studies, and international relations. His work examines how power, legitimacy, and state capacity shape policy outcomes and development trajectories, with particular attention to hybrid governance and the interaction between state and non-state actors in complex settings.  Extending this foundation, his research adopts a multidisciplinary orientation, drawing on insights from management, sustainability, and digital transformation to examine how governance conditions influence organisational behaviour, decision-making, and strategy. Through this integration, Dr Moh connects political and institutional analysis with real-world organisational practice, contributing to a more applied understanding of how organisations operate and respond to uncertainty in evolving governance contexts.
