Terrence Feng is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting in the School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain at RMIT University.
He holds a PhD from the University of Technology Sydney and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ). Prior to joining RMIT, Terrence served as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Waikato, New Zealand.
His research focuses on auditing and financial accounting, with particular emphasis on auditor choice, earnings quality, corporate governance, and capital markets. His work examines the quality of statutory and voluntary accounting information, its interaction with auditor attributes, how such information is reflected in share prices, and its role in corporate decision-making and executive compensation design.
Terrence’s research has been published in leading accounting and finance journals, including The Accounting Review, Accounting & Finance, International Review of Financial Analysis, Meditari Accountancy Research, Australian Journal of Management, China Journal of Accounting Research, and Finance Research Letters. He has also received competitive external funding, including grants from the Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ).
