Built Scholarship

This scholarship provides $5,000 for one year.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

• be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident or a permanent humanitarian visa holder
• identify as a woman
• be enrolling full-time in 2026 in one of the following programs:
  • third or fourth year of the Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) (BH114)
  • third or fourth year of the Bachelor of Project Management (Honours) (BH112), or
  • any year of the Master of Project Management (MC210)
• have a Grade Point Average (GPA) to date of 2.0 or higher
• be willing to participate in a fixed-term Cadet position at Built
• be available for interview, if shortlisted^*

Preference will be given to students who can demonstrate circumstance/s which impact their ability to study such as:

• receiving a government tested low income benefit or having a Centrelink Health Card Card 
• living with a disability, long-term medical condition or identify as neurodivergent
• experiencing personal/family/social difficulties
• being from an interstate or rural/regional area and moved to Melbourne to study at RMIT
• are from an under-represented cohort such as:
  • identify as a woman in a male-dominated field
  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander 
  • were born overseas, are from a non-English background and recently migrated to Australia
  • current or former refugee 
  • completed secondary school at a School Network Access Program school

Supporting documentation

Depending on your circumstances, you will need to provide different types of evidence and material to support your scholarship application. Applications without supporting documents will not be considered.

You will need:

• A cover letter (no more than 1 page) describing why you would like to to participate in a cadetship at Built

It is expected that the online application will take approximately thirty minutes to complete. The main application questions are listed below to allow you time to prepare your answers in advance prior to starting the online application.
