Jack Tan is Lecturer in Language and Literacy Education at the Faculty of Education, University of Melbourne. He is also Adjunct Associate of the non/fictionLab at RMIT's School of Media and Communication. Jack holds a PhD in Education and Creative Writing from RMIT. He also has degrees in Teaching, English Literature and Linguistics from the University of Melbourne and the National University of Singapore. Jack has tutored extensively in Creative Writing and English Literature for the University of Melbourne Faculty of Arts and the residential colleges.
