In partnership with The Wheeler Centre, RMIT University proudly supports author R. A. Spratt for an afternoon of myths, jokes and mayhem as she reads from her new book The Epically Awesome Odyssey.

What really happened 3,000 years ago on the most epically awesome journey of all time? Join author R.A. Spratt to find out…

Nanny Piggins is back for another incredible adventure – and this time, she's hitting the high seas! In this hilarious retelling of The Odyssey, you'll travel with Nanny and her crew of sailors as they face man-munching monsters, Greek gods with rage issues and sirens brandishing cake batter, all while she tries to get back home safe and sound.

Reading from her new book The Epically Awesome Odyssey, join author R. A. Spratt as she answers all your burning questions and reveals why Homer (the poet, not the Simpsons character) totally left out the fact that Odysseus was actually a staggeringly beautiful woman… and a pig.

Don't miss this exciting live storytelling event that will keep you laughing from start to finish!

Recommended for ages 7+.
