About

Priya Kunjan is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Urban Research working on the ARC Discovery Project 'Precarious Dwelling: Encounters with housing crisis', which investigates multiple dimensions of housing precarity in relation to ongoing colonialism in Naarm/Melbourne.

Their focus areas in Precarious Dwelling research project are on experiences of housing insecurity in private rental properties and public housing estates subject to redevelopment.

In their work both within and outside the academy, Priya has ongoing interests in racial in/justice, Indigenous sovereignty and conceptions of home and place.
