Dr. Venus Kanani-Moghadam is a Senior Lecturer in Strategy and International Business and the Program Manager for the Master of International Business major at the School of Management, RMIT University. She earned her Ph.D. in International Business Management from the University of Newcastle. Her research lies at the intersection of Strategy, Innovation Management, and International Business, addressing critical strategic questions that enable companies to grow, adapt, and consistently outperform competitors.
Before her current role, Venus served as a Lecturer in Strategy & International Business at the Australian National University (ANU) from 2018 to 2024, where she also held the position of Program Director for the Master of International Business. Her research explores the complex interplay between global strategy, dynamic capabilities, and sustainability, contributing valuable insights to the fields of international business and strategic management.
Prior to her academic career, she gained over nine years of extensive experience as a business advisor and management consultant, offering strategic guidance and practical solutions to companies seeking to enhance their competitive position.
