Help power the next phase of the RMIT Regenerative Futures Institute at our Community Forum, closing out our inaugural Energy Futures events season.

RFI's Energy Futures season brought people together to reimagine our relationship with energy, from extracting it to regenerating it. The RFI Community Forum is where that momentum becomes something lasting.

This is a session to co-design an RFI Community of Practice, a network of people committed to putting regeneration into practice across Melbourne. Rather than a talk to sit back and watch, it is a working session where the room helps build the thing itself, deciding together how this community meets, what it takes on, and how it holds itself to a genuinely regenerative way of working.

Across the afternoon we will explore three questions together:

Community – who we are, how we gather, and how the group grows and stays connected.
Governance – the shared principles and light-touch ways of working that let a community like this thrive.
Projects – how ideas come to the group, and how we choose what to work on and see it through.

The session will be facilitated by Leyla Acaroglu, designer, sustainability provocateur and UNEP Champion of the Earth, whose work has long asked how we might live and create differently.

Whether you have been part of the season from the start or this is your first encounter with RFI, we want you in the room.
