International students are an important and valued part of the RMIT community.

You may be aware that the Australian Government’s proposed changes to limit the number of international students able to commence study in Australia in 2025 is unlikely to be implemented this year, however we expect there may be some restrictions imposed.

If you are interested in studying at RMIT in 2025, we encourage you to apply as early as possible. By applying early you’ll have plenty of time to secure your visa for our Semester 1 intake.

Once you start your studies at RMIT, you will be warmly welcomed as an international student. You will join a multicultural and multi-faith community, made up of students from over 196 different countries who call RMIT their home away from home.

RMIT looks forward to welcoming international students to our vibrant Melbourne campuses in 2025.
