We provide a dedicated space for meaningful dialogue, career discovery, and professional networking, ensuring a seamless transition from the classroom to the workforce.

Event Schedule

The PCPM Careers Fair is held twice annually in Storey Hall (Building 16) at the RMIT City Campus, with sessions scheduled during Semester 1 (March/April) and Semester 2 (August).

For Students: Your Gateway to the Professional World

The RMIT PCPM Careers Fair offers an unparalleled opportunity for students to forge meaningful connections with leading employers across property, project management, and construction. This event serves as a vital bridge between your academic studies and your future career, providing a platform to engage directly with industry experts, gain firsthand insights, and explore diverse professional paths.

Whether you are an undergraduate or postgraduate student, this fair is a pivotal moment to expand your network and set yourself on the path to success. You will have the chance to discover a wide range of opportunities tailored to your ambitions, including:

  • Graduate Programs & Career Pathways: Secure your first role with firms at the forefront of the industry.

  • Scholarships: Explore industry-backed support for your educational journey.
  • Industry Knowledge: Learn about the current landscape of property development, investment, valuation, project management, and construction directly from those working in the field.

For Employers: Engaging with Future Talent

Employers from across the built environment sectors are invited to campus to connect with our students and share upcoming opportunities within their organisations. This event is designed to facilitate high-quality interactions, allowing you to meet motivated candidates who are ready to contribute to the future of the industry.

By participating in the Careers Fair, your organisation can:

  • Build Brand Awareness: Establish your firm as an employer of choice among RMIT’s specialised student cohort.
  • Identify Emerging Talent: Meet face-to-face with students seeking graduate roles, cadetships, and vacation work.
  • Share Insights: Provide guidance on the skills and attributes your organisation values most in the current market.
  • Strengthen Industry Ties: Maintain a visible presence within the RMIT PCPM community and the broader Victorian construction and property landscape.

Registration & Participation

To ensure a high level of engagement and provide the best experience for both students and exhibitors, places for these events are limited.

  • Student & Alumni Access: Attendance is exclusively available to current RMIT students and alumni. This ensures our industry partners connect directly with talent specifically trained within the RMIT ecosystem.
  • Employer Participation: Participation is reserved for organisations registered with the School’s Employer of Choice (EOC) Program. This exclusivity allows us to maintain a curated network of partners committed to student development and professional excellence.
  • Employer of Choice (EOC) Benefits: Beyond access to our Careers Fairs, EOC members receive priority placement and various year-round engagement opportunities across the School.
