RMIT students connected with over 45 leading industry employers and returning alumni to explore graduate opportunities.
Despite the wet Melbourne weather, Storey Hall was buzzing with energy on Wednesday 19 August as the RMIT School of Property, Construction and Project Management hosted its Semester 2 Careers Fair.
The flagship event brought together hundreds of enthusiastic students and over 45 industry partners.
Strong representation across all sectors
This semester stood out for its comprehensive representation across all core disciplines. Students had the opportunity to engage directly with leading employers from property development, investment, valuation, construction management, and project management.
It was especially wonderful to see so many of our alumni return to campus, standing behind the employer booths to share their professional journeys and offer direct guidance to current students.
Beyond employer stalls, attendees benefited from dedicated information booths:
- RMIT Career Connect: Providing information on services offered including tailored advice on resume building, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
- PCPM Postgraduate Studies: Offering guidance to students exploring further study options, specialised master programs, and research pathways.
Bridging academia and professional practice
The event served as a vital bridge between university study and career entry. Students from all year levels explored a wide range of opportunities, including graduate programs, cadetships, scholarships, and flexible part time roles.

The next major event on the School calendar is our Annual Industry, Research and Awards Night this October at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, where many of our attending employers will be returning as proud award sponsors.
