A team of five undergraduate Property students travelled to Toronto in March to represent RMIT School of Property, Construction and Project Management at the Undergraduate Real Estate Case Competition (URECC), hosted by the University of Guelph at Deloitte’s Toronto head office.

The event is a premier student property development competition involving top universities across north America and globally. The competition required the team to create a full development proposal to purchase and develop an allocated site in Toronto.

Students had the opportunity to travel for a site visit and present their bid to leading property developers and industry professionals, plus a chance to build connections with students from global universities.

The group consisted of a mix of 2nd to 4th year Bachelor of Property Development, Investment and Valuation students. Congratulations to the RMIT Team Chad Cartledge, Jacob van Winckel, Victoria Naumovski, Oscar White and  Meghavi Khengar for delivering such a high-quality project!

The group is thankful to PCPM for providing such a great opportunity. RMIT property students can contact Dr Wejen Reddy (or wejendra.reddy@rmit.edu.au) to find out more on how they can get involved for future international case competition events.
