Construction Management students from the RMIT School of Property, Construction and Project Management recently visited the L.U. Simon Builders construction site at 525 Church Street, Richmond on Monday 11 May, 2026, providing students with a valuable opportunity to experience the realities of construction project delivery firsthand.
During the visit, students were guided through the live construction environment by members of the L.U. Simon project team, who generously shared their expertise and practical knowledge of site operations, project coordination, and construction management processes.
Students gained valuable insight into the practical challenges of working on site, including site restrictions, logistics, safety considerations, and the planning and management of construction activities in real-world conditions. The visit provided an engaging and meaningful learning experience, helping students connect classroom theory with industry practice.
The school sincerely thanks the L.U. Simon team Dennis L Moschoyiannis, Kane Devitt, Sam Catchlove & Luke Blake for their time, professionalism, and willingness to support student learning through industry engagement opportunities.
L.U. Simon Builders is a valued Employer of Choice partner of the School and longstanding sponsor of student achievement awards, continuing to demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting the next generation of construction and project management professionals.
