University space (including classrooms and lecture theatres) can be booked, during the semester from Monday to Friday, 8.30am–9.30pm, for study sessions, meetings and RUSU groups. Film and art students may request space for the purpose of filming videos and photo shoots. Weekend bookings and bookings between semesters will be considered; however there may be a charge as these times are considered out of hours.

Please submit your space hire request using the process outlined on the venue hire web page. Send your request as early as possible (at least two weeks before your event). This will allow you time to find another time or space if a booking already exists. Have only one club member coordinate all club space bookings. This will avoid confusion and miscommunication between the club and the University as these spaces can be booked for more than one event.

For art installations, you will need to follow the Guidelines for the Request to Display Public Art on RMIT Campuses and submit an application to Property Services.
