Group meeting and study spaces

If you need to guarantee a meeting or study space, you should book it.

All Library sites and Building 80 offer group study rooms.

Rooms can be booked online by students up to two weeks in advance. Student lounges and informal study spaces might also meet your group study needs.

Over 50 student spaces across all campuses have been upgraded with additional seating, power, microwaves and new lighting.

University space (including classrooms and lecture theatres) can be booked, during the semester from Monday to Friday, 8.30am–9.30pm, for study sessions, meetings and RUSU groups. Film and art students may request space for the purpose of filming videos and photo shoots. Weekend bookings and bookings between semesters will be considered; however, there may be a charge as these times are considered out of hours.

Please submit your space hire request using the process outlined on the venue hire web page. Send your request as early as possible (at least two weeks before your event). This will allow you time to find another time or space if a booking already exists. Have only one club member coordinate all club space bookings. This will avoid confusion and miscommunication between the club and the University as these spaces can be booked for more than one event.
