Soft tissue massage

Soft tissue massage focuses on general treatment and assessment of muscle groups to help alleviate pain and discomfort associated with work, sport and everyday activity.

This treatment is great for any of the following non-complex muscle conditions:

  • pain and movement restriction caused by sporting injuries
  • stress related tension in shoulders
  • soreness in the lower back and legs caused by gardening or hiking.

Remedial massage

Remedial massage therapists treat a range of muscular issues which have either come about suddenly or have been left untreated for a number of months/years.

Remedial massage students use their assessment skills to assess a painful region of the body in order to create a treatment plan to restore pain free movement and to improve the overall quality of your area of concern.

Remedial massage students use assessment, soft tissue massage, lymphatic drainage, cupping, corrective exercises and stretches to assist with the recovery of a painful muscle group in order for you to reach your personal goals or to simply improve movement in a specific area of the body.

Myotherapy offers a specialised approach to assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions that cause discomfort and impact your ability to function to the best of your ability.

Myotherapy students use soft tissue techniques which also incorporate cupping, dry-needling, stretching, lymphatic drainage, joint mobilisation, and exercise prescription.

Myotherapy is suitable for people recovering from injury, looking to correct postural imbalances cause, overuse to specific muscle group due to work, treatment of neurological conditions and overall corrective work needed to realign any pervious imbalances whoever new or on-going they may be.

Myotherapy students are qualified remedial massage therapists studying the Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy.
