Alem Molla is a professor in the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics. He teaches and researches in sustainable digital business transformation. His research has been funded by various industry and inter/national granting bodies. He has published more than 150 articles in top-tier information systems journals and other outlets. He has also supervised 22 HDR candidates to completion.
Alem’s leadership contribution has been recognized through RMIT Award for Innovative Research Supervision (2021) and DVC Award, Academic member of staff, for exceptional contribution to the College of Business and Law, RMIT University (2021).
Professor Molla has rich experience in undergraduate, graduate, and research teaching accumulated in Australia, the UK, Singapore, and Africa. He has a track-record in developing PhD and Masters level programs and courses on HDR Practice, Research Methods, Business Systems Analysis and Design, Digital Strategy, e-business, IT outsourcing, IT Strategy, Information Systems and Enterprise Systems.
