Dr Stephanie Milsom is a researcher practitioner that investigates the phenomenology of screen media from her perspective as a diarist media maker. Drawing from her background in Cinema Studies, her interdisciplinary research practice uses experimental and diarist making to explore the ambiguous sensations of self-representation, with a particular focus on translating experiences of memory, time, place and digital identity to creative practice. Her research has featured locally and internationally at Visible Evidence, Digital Intimacies, NonfictionNOW and The Association for Internet Researchers. She is a Lecturer in Media and Cinema Studies at RMIT University.
