About

Dr Jacinta Humphrey is an Urban Ecologist and Postdoctoral Researcher with the ICON Science Research Group at RMIT University. Her work explores Biodiversity Sensitive Urban Design and aims to find opportunities to enhance habitat for wildlife in residential streets, urban parks, schoolyards and private gardens.

 

Jacinta completed her PhD in Landscape and Conservation Ecology at La Trobe University. Her thesis investigated the influence of urbanisation on bird communities in residential suburbs of Melbourne.
