Dr Roksana Hematizadeh holds a PhD in Finance, an MBA (Finance), and a bachelor's degree in Statistics. Her research explores asset pricing, behavioural finance and portfolio management, with a particular focus on mathematical modelling and empirical analysis. Her work has been published in top-tier journals and presented at several prestigious conferences.
Roksana has previously taught finance and financial planning subjects, consistently receiving high student satisfaction scores for her engaging and research-informed teaching approach. Her teaching philosophy blends theory with practice, supporting student learning through innovative subject design, active learning strategies, and industry engagement.
