About

Dr Hendy received the B.Eng. (Hons.) and M.S. degrees in Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering from Alexandria University, Egypt. She received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from RMIT University, Melbourne, VIC, Australia. Dr. Hendy is currently a Research Fellow with the School of Engineering at RMIT University. Her research spans wireless communications, RF sensing, spaceborne SAR interference modelling and mitigation, signal processing, machine/deep learning, geolocation and emitter fingerprinting, optical communication, and neuromorphic systems. She has contributed to several defence-aligned and industry-driven projects in collaboration with SmartSat CRC, ESA~$\Phi$-lab, DLR, DSTG, and ONI.
