About

Dr. Ama Samarasinghe is a lecturer in Finance and Financial Planning at the School of Accounting, Information Systems, and Supply Chain at RMIT University. She joined RMIT in 2021 after completing her PhD in Finance at Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

Dr. Samarasinghe's research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including banking and corporate finance, financial markets and institutions, sustainable finance, and real estate finance. Dr Samarasinghe has provided expert commentary and analysis on personal finance and financial planning in various media outlets.
