About

Dr. Laura Martín-Pozo is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow whose research is aligned with the fields of environmental analytical chemistry, contaminant fate, and environmental risk assessment. Her work involves expertise in chromatographic methods for the determination of emerging contaminants in complex environmental and biological matrices.

Her research addresses microplastics, pharmaceuticals, UV filters, cytostatic drugs, endocrine disruptors, pesticides, and other emerging pollutants, with applications in environmental monitoring, biomonitoring, wastewater treatment, and ecological risk assessment.

Research interests
